Series NAME PAINTINGS is based on the idea to create a reminder
of a memorable moment in a child's life.
A contributor to the AllaprimA Foundation can order the name which
has to be add to the selected painting.
This series is the third series based on an own way of creating
art works. Previous series are Saksala on the Rock series I and II
and Hiirola - homage to Knut Nylander.
The technique is related to mono-printing but gives more freedom to
create the different paintings. NAME PAINTINGS are acrylic paintings
with the possibility to add the name of a child to it, and to make
it into a personal memento.
Working from the idea: "Every child is a king and deserves a
personal royal crown through which he reigns over a world in which
fantasy, fairy tales and miracles are natural" the colorful
paintings are composed into objects with various interpretations.
This series is commissioned by the Dutch AllaprimA Foundation as
part of the campaign of promoting their international art education
program and research, and enjoy their contributors with an original
piece of art. (www.allaprima.org)
